People blog for a lot of reasons, be it for business or for personal reasons, there’s a reason.

Blog or Website – Which one is better?

Like I mentioned before, a blog and a website have their own purposes. While a blog is good for sharing knowledge of what you know and what you want to teach people, a website is good for showcasing your business or your skills on a static page.

Blogs are contained with blog posts which is good for visitors to check on other blog posts in the blog, but a website is a static page with no few pages like contact us or about us.

If you need a medium to share your knowledge with the world then a blog is the best and nothing else.

If you have a business, company, or need a portfolio for just showcasing what you do and years of experience and others – a website is the best to do that but you can add a blog to teach people about what you do.

For example, Ahrefs.com is a website and also a popular SEO tool. Ahrefs.com/blog is a blog that talks and teaches SEO, content marketing, and more. You can do the same easily on WordPress.

By now you should know the difference between a blog and a website and also which one to start.
